Mostly mirrorless and compact cameras from the main brands such as Canon, Sony, Nikon and Fujifilm, plus lenses for those cameras. Some come with a kit lens, some are body only; the product page says clearly what is included.

What we know about each unit, such as the shutter count we could check, remaining warranty or the accessories included, is written in the product details. If a detail is not written, it means we have not checked it or do not know it — ask, and we will check before you travel to the shop.

There is no fixed formula, but there are four things we suggest you check every time.

• Compare with the current new price — an older model still sold new and a discontinued model have very different used prices. Always check the new price first.
• Shutter count and outside condition — low shutter count but a heavily marked body, or high shutter count but well cared for: you have to weigh it yourself. How to check is in the shutter count guide (Thai).
• Accessories included — spare battery, charger, box, cables and kit lens cost more than you think when bought separately.
